Hello, my name is Chidi, and I am a performance coach from Germany. My story into strength and conditioning began in 2006 when I followed the “fitness debate” before the World Cup in Germany with great interest. <\/span><\/p>

J\u00fcrgen Klinsmann brought in the American fitness guru Mark Verstegen and pursued a revolutionary approach to preparing the German national team. Their methods were met with harsh criticism from those who could not understand why they were conducting fitness tests instead of practicing set pieces. The result? A remarkably strong tournament in which the young German national team took third place. <\/span><\/p>

This moment marked the beginning of the strength and conditioning boom in German football, and this is where my passion began to take shape.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

As a football player, I was known for my speed and athleticism, but constantly struggled with injuries \u2013 from serious setbacks to persistent problems that affected my performance. In these challenging times, I wished for a coach who could help me manage and prevent injuries. <\/span><\/p>

This experience drove me to become the coach I needed as a player. I dedicated myself to studying sports science, earned my bachelor’s degree, and continued my studies with a master’s in Strength and Conditioning at St Mary’s in London Twickenham University. <\/span><\/p>

That’s why Double10 Performance exists today \u2013 to be there for talented athletes who face the same challenges I once faced, and to help them reach their full potential while staying healthy and resilient.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

THE MEANING BEHIND DOUBLE10<\/h2><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The name Double10 Performance has a deep personal meaning for me.<\/span><\/p>

The number 10 represents excellence in sports \u2013 not only in football, where it is worn by playmakers, but also in disciplines like gymnastics, where a “perfect 10” means flawless execution.<\/span><\/p>

October 10th is my son’s birthday, a date that brings me immense joy.<\/span><\/p>

I founded Double10 in 2020, exactly 10 years after the death of my younger brother<\/span> MEZU<\/b> \u2013 making the “10” reappear again, as a way to honor his memory and turn grief into something positive.<\/span><\/p>

These connections make Double10 more than just a business name \u2013 it’s a reflection of my personal journey, my family, and my commitment to excellence.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
